The Venue "Det ny Sletten" at Ry
Here you find our recommendations for travelling to the EEE Conference in Denmark 2010. Please make sure to tell us your travelling plans when you sign up, so that we can plan the pick-ups at the airport.

By car
We recommend participants from i.e. Germany, Belgium or Holland to go by car, since it will probably be the cheapest means of transport.
If you go by car, set your GPS to: Det ny Sletten, Boegedalsvej 16, DK-8680 Ry, Denmark, or visit Google Maps Denmark and type in the address for when you cross the Danish border.

By plane
If you choose to go by plane, we recommend arrival at either (A) Billund Airport or (C) Kastrup Airport (Copenhagen), which has a price comparison for flights to Copenhagen. Billund Airport will be nearest by (B) Det ny Sletten. From the airport you can either rent a car, or wait for pick-up (only at Billund Airport).

Pick-ups at Billund Airport
Upon arrival at Billund Airport, you will be met by someone from our team holding a sign saying EEE Conference.
These are suggestions, and we will plan the pick-ups as we receive your travelling plans along with your sign-up:

Arrival
Pre-conference pick-ups: Monday 26^th of April at 09:00 and 21:00
Conference pick-ups: Thursday 29^th of April at 14:00 and 21:00

Departure

Arrival at Billund Airport for departure:                      
Sunday 2^nd of May at 21:00 (after bell-closing)
Monday 3^rd of May at 13:00 (after lunch)

Remember to take precautions for demands for early arrival at the Airport when you depart.

By train or bus
If you wish to go by train or bus, you can type in your request online at the Danish international travel planner (links to International search in english). Your destination will then be “Ry St.”. Please let us know at sign-up if you arrive at Ry station, so that we can coordinate the pick-ups.

By ferry 

You can go by ferry and arrive at i.e. Frederikshavn or Grenaa, and go to Ry by car or train from there. Visit www.stenaline.co.uk/ferry/ to plan your trip by ferry.
