Tallinn airport meets many flight companies: Estonian Air, SAS, Lufthansa, KLM, Air Baltic, Finnair, CSA Czech Airlines and others. Rental cars can be booked also in the aiport. All necessary information can be found in Tallinn Airport webpage www.tallinn-airport.ee. Cheaper
flights can be found by Easy Jet that is coming from London to Tallinn,
Air Baltic and Ryan Air arrive in Riga (Latvia). Often people fly to Riga and from there will find a connecting flight to Tallinn or cheaper option will be a bus Eurolines (www.eurolines.ee) taking the bus from Riga Coach Station in the downtown.
Arriving to Helsinki,
there is only 80 km of sea separating us, there are two options:
taking a connecting flight to Tallinn or cheaper would be to take a
ferry from the Port of Helsinki (www.portofhelsinki.fi).
Other travelling ideas
- Fly to Riga, rent a car there and drive all the way through Latvia and Estonia to make it to Jäneda.
-
Fly or drive to Stockholm - there is a way to drive from Europe through Denmark and Sweden up
to Stockholm and take a ferry from there to Tallinn (ferry trip lasts
for ca 12 hours, usually leaves ca 18.00 in the evening and arrives at 10 am to Tallinn) - more information on ferries in Port of Tallinn: www.ts.ee. Of course connecting flight can be taken.
- Drive to Estonia - from Latvia, Lihtuania, Poland, Slovakia,
Czech Republic, eastern part of Germany it is not that long of a drive.
But interesting and more variable as for sightseeing.
Thanks everyone for updating their travel information! Now we have
made a primary pick up for those arriving or enjoying experiential
sightseeing in downtown: 15.30 at Mere pst and at 16.00 at the airport.
Everyone will be met at the airport or other arriving spot by someone
from our team holding A4 with Your name on it, and guided further.
Those arriving later will be also met the same way but pick up time
will be clearified later on as there are still couple who are not sure.
There will be also a drop off options - this will be discussed on
site. The primary will be ca 12-13 pm, but others leaving sooner will
have help as well.
