Expected arrival around 14.00 – 20.00, arranged pick ups and travel arrangements to Jäneda will be made according to flight schedules.
Possible activities for early comers: local recreational activities (hiking, horseback  riding) or city tour in Tallinn.
Dinner at 19.30 at the The Stable of  Black Stallion    
     

28 April Tuesday TRIP TO IDA-VIRUMAA

The trip will be a full day journey to north-eastern part of Estonia that has a variety of history and landscape. Tour guide will be accompanying the whole day.

Approximate time schedule of the trip:

9.00 Departure form Jäneda

11.00 Tour to Kohtla-Kaevanduspark-muuseum - mines and museum with „miners lunch" http://www.kaevanduspark.ee/eng/index.htm

13.00 - 16.30 Visiting the monestry Kuremäe and other sightseeings in the area with our tour guide Elina Aro.

BOG WALKING TOUR

Approximate schedule for a bog-walking trip in Kakerdaja bog:

10.00 – Depart from Jäneda

10.30 – Instructions by tour guide Mart Reimann

13.00 – A small lunch/picnic

17.00 – Arriving back to Jäneda

Kakerdaja bog:

Kakerdaja bog is one of the biggest bogs in Kõrvemaa (about 100 ha). There locates also a lake with the same name as the bog. Kakerdaja bog got its name after a fisherman named Kakerdaja who was an excellent diver. The originality about the bog is that it has bog lakes which locate in two different heights. Kakerdaja bog is rich of bog lakes and it has a very interesting nature. Also there is a boardwalk for making hiking easier.

HORSEBACK RIDING TOUR

The guided tour will be 12 km long and covering the distance from Jäneda to Valgehobusemägi. No previous experience is necessary.

Approximate schedule for a bog-walking trip in Kakerdaja bog:

10.20 – Walk from Jäneda Guesthouse to the Jäneda Stables

10.30 – Instructions and preparing the horses

11.00 – departing for the tour

13.00 – A small lunch/picnic at Valgehobusemäe

17.00 – Getting back to Jäneda

Suggested clothing:

Appropriate to the weather, preferrably long hiking pants and jacket, rain gear, comfortable footwear (hiking boots).
