What to Bring E-mail

For the stay

Those of you who stay in the bungalows do not need to worry about towels, bedsheets, etc.. All is provided for by the camping. Those of you who camp, most likely know the routine. Bring all except cooking gear. 

For the workshops

As you know it helps if you can bring any of the items you may need for your workshop. If you need anything special that you can not bring please tell us ( fridge doors, and stranger miscelanious items have been used) anything strange you want I will try and get it, but try and keep it simple.  

For the walking afternoon

Bring your normal walking gear, also bring a head lamp, just in case we arrive at night.  

For our traditional International Dinner

Please bring any of the items listed below, to be set out on a table and tasted and feasted on during the night – and maybe for the next few days.

  • Bring something typical from your country, region, or town
  • Bring something homemade, sweet or salty
  • Bring something to drink: alcoholic or non-alcoholic

For our Saturday night entertainment and disco

please bring:

  • A CD with your favourite song (dancing music). We will then make a medley of all the songs to play for our disco.
  • Decoration items
  • Party games

For the weather

In terms of weather, anything could happen! At this time in Spain, we may have a rainy May, but the normal situation will be of spring time and warm.

The conference will take place in what is mid-Spring for us, so it could be either warm and dry with temperatures in the mid to high 25 (centigrade) – So, bring:

  • Just in case it is cold bring your mountain jacket, at night it does get cold.
  • Rain gear & hiking boots
  • Sun lotion, hat & shades
  • Swimming costume and towell

For those – rare – free hours

You may want to bring:

  • Mountain bike – there are lots of off-road bike routes through the forests, both easy and flat and exciting and steep!
  • Hiking equipment - the trails through the woods around the centre are wonderful.
  • We have a couple of climbing places, there is a famous bulder zone, near by.
  • Excelent granite climming in La Pedriza, check by this name in internet.
  • The camping has a voley ball, basket and soccer ground, bring your balls.
