Where is it?

“Whiter  than milk, cooler than water and from the veil lighter, softer. From the rose purer from the gold more expensive, from the lyra sweeter and more musical” (Sappho, for Lesvos)

Lesvos is the island of the great ancient poet Sappho and the place where Aristotle spent three years studying the nature before undertaking Great Alexander education. Its children are: Pittakos of Mitiline (one of the seven wise people of ancient history), Sappho, Arion, Alcaios, Tepandros, Theophrastos. Lesvos sea sounds and beaches inspired the Nobel prized poet Odysseas Elitis. This island is considered as a blessed place through its monasteries and byzantine churches that aims to leave unforgettable memories.

Delfinia hotel and bungalows is one of the first traditional hotels build in Lesvos. It is based next to the sea and nearby to the magnificent village of ancient Mithimna-Molyvos.

At its 18 acres (275,000 sq.m.) outdoor activities can be held with a variation of nature choices (clear waters of the sea, sandy beach, rocks, mountain, small gardens and tranquil places for inspiration and exploration).

The venue combines sea and nature breeze as well as the view of the Medieval castle of Mithimna.

Delfinia’s menu is made in the Greek traditional way of cooking using only fresh (not frozen) and seasonal vegetables, fruits and other homemade products. A vegeterian option is also included in the menu.
