Programme 2012

LESVOS : the island of poets and of light. A trip on the cross road of East and West.

The conference will be 4 days long, starting on Wednesday evening (around 18.30), April 25, 2012 and finishing around  noon (12.30 a.m.) on Sunday 29th April.

The first night (Wednesday) we will welcome all participants, agree on the final workshop schedule and get to know each other. Each year the conference is 'rung-in' with everyone ringing the EEEurope bell.

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday workshops will run from 09:30 hrs - 13:00 hrs and from 15:00 hrs - 18:30 hrs. There will be 30 minutes breaks between workshops and 2 hours for lunch and siesta!. Workshops slots are 1½ hrs or 3 hrs. On Sunday morning (after breakfast), our conference review, evaluation and bell ringing closing ceremony will take place as well as the hand over process to next year's hosts. This morning is a very important one for sharing in the EEE community so the presence of each and every one of you is kindly requested. We strongly encourage you, if possible, to make your travel arrangements in such a way so that you do not miss it!

Thursday evening will be our traditional International Dinner. We provide pita-souvlaki and the famous Greek salad with feta cheese for starters and the rest of the menu depends on the food and drink that you bring from your own country for sharing with others.

For our last night (Saturday) we have planned a party for celebrating - in the Greek way - our community’s life.
