The trip will be a full day journey to north-eastern part of Estonia that has a variety of history and landscape. Tour guide will be accompanying the whole day.

Kakerdaja bog:

Kakerdaja bog is one of the biggest bogs in Kõrvemaa (about 100 ha). There locates also a lake with the same name as the bog. Kakerdaja bog got its name after a fisherman named Kakerdaja who was an excellent diver. The originality about the bog is that it has bog lakes which locate in two different heights. Kakerdaja bog is rich of bog lakes and it has a very interesting nature. Also there is a boardwalk for making hiking easier.

HORSEBACK RIDING TOUR

The guided tour will be 12 km long and covering the distance from Jäneda to Valgehobusemägi. No previous experience is necessary.

Suggested clothing:

Appropriate to the weather, preferrably long hiking pants and jacket, rain gear, comfortable footwear (hiking boots).

In pricing structure we have tried to keep it on the same level as the previous conferences that have been examples to follow. Due to the economical setback and getting more deeply involved in EU the prices in Estonia are higher if compared to the situation 5 years ago. We have tried to put together the program that will be highly enjoyed and not forgotten for a long time.

There have been discussions about the payment system, and Michael Rehm has been so generous to open an account for paypal.

The venue has been booked, bus transfers as well, pre-conference activity organizers need to know the number of participants – the earlier you register and do the payments the less risk it holds on organizers.

For those of you who are unable to pay via PayPal, or have special arrangements, payments can be made at the site at arrival. This will have an extra cost of € 25,00 and is only possible after consultation with the host. {endif}

The fee includes: 

• Conference fee and/or pre-conference fee
• Accommodation in Jäneda Hostel (27th until 30th of April, and 30th of April until 4th of May)
• All meals during the conference (starting with dinner on 27th of April until breakfast on 4th of May), except the lunch on 30th of April,
• Pick ups on 27th and 30th of April and 4th of May in times given at the program.
• Instructors, equipment, facilities, transportation, lunch during the pre-conference activities
• Scholarship fund

The fee does not include:

• beverages (charged separately)
• special pick-ups (Extra 15 euros will be charged)

Making the conference cheaper

if you prefer to tent out, the cost will be reduced for pre-conference 60 euros and for main conference 80 euros. If you prefer other accommodation, please let us know and we will look personally into your needs. You can also consider applying for the scholarship fund.

Cancellations

If you are not able to participate, please let us know as soon as possible. If you have already paid but there is someone else participating instead of you, let us know , there will be no fees for doing it. Any questions, ideas, thoughts suggestions, critique – please, let us know . This is the only way to make the conference for all of us the most enjoyable.
